Carriage House Wedding | Destination Wedding Photographer | Jessie & Michael

This wedding was YEARS in the making. Jessie and I have known each other for years; we swam for rival colleges (me Duke, her NC State) but our teams had one thing in common: we both hated UNC. Beyond that, Jessie and I found that we had HEAPS in common. In between He’s Not adventures and swim meets we found that we were freakily similar. Style twins, teachers at heart and in general just love to have a good time with our friends. After college, we stayed in touch chatting about TFA stuff and when she got engaged, I was likely the first person to freak out on social media.

After meeting Michael, I could not be happier for Jessie in her new life as a wife. Michael adores the crap out of Jessie. They are truthfully so good for each other and they come with all the fixin’s of a perfect couple that would make you swoon/make you super jealous: pet names (cookie & doughnut), an adorable puppy named Raleigh and they kill it in their free-time together watching sports & babysitting some adorable neighbors. I just knew their wedding would be absolutely reflective of them: amazing.

The two tied the knot at the Carriage House in Houston. Yes, it did happen to be a million degrees but the whole wedding was all smiles for their stunning nuptials. Jessie’s vision of a classic southern wedding came to life with her girls in gold and the garden was a perfect backdrop for portraits. One of my favorite moments of the day was Jessie’s first look with her father. She is his only baby girl and I definitely cried in solidarity with this stunning bride. The whole crowed welled up during their daddy daughter dance as well. The whole wedding was a blast right down to the late night taco bar. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Kasper!
