When you’re in the city of love, it’s nearly impossible to not want to photograph a couple! Cheyenne and Doug are photographers themselves! They run Art de’ Vie and are based out of New Orleans AND Paris! Lucky them! When we were chatting about a sweetheart session, they seemed surprised I didn’t want to shoot on the Trocadero. They shoot couples there on a weekly (if not daily) basis. While I of course did a quintessential shoot on those iconic stairs, I thought it would be a better feel of Paris to shoot on the Champs de Mars. Yes, you can see a hint of the Eiffel Tower in the background but it is less in your face. In my opinion, this is a more subtle, realistic view of the city. In fact, the creator of the Eiffel Tower hated it! He once was quoted saying that his favorite spot in Paris was atop the tower because it was the only place you couldn’t see it! Be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for my film snaps of the pair!

And now for a few film snaps! Thanks to The Find Lab for developing!
