When I first met Tory, I truly felt as though we were style twins. Everything she described about how she envisioned her wedding day was EXACTLY LIKE MINE. The dress, the blooms, the venue… it’s as if she stepped right out of my head! We both do SolidCore and think Lauren Conrad’s style is what wedding dreams are made of!  I can’t wait for their Blue Valley Vineyard And Winery wedding next summer!

Tory and Andrew first met the old fashion way, at college. It was 2013 when they both were first introduced by mutual friends in JMU’s ROTC and FIJI fraternity. Both dating separate people at the time, they didn’t reconnect until after Andrew graduated and Tory was in her senior year at college. Through the helpful hand of social media, the couple begin to text and got to know each other beyond the frat parties and military balls.

Tory and Andrew decided to take their annual couples vacation in the Grand Cayman in May of 2017. Thanks to Tory’s Marriott points and United miles, the couple had the opportunity to have a budget friendly vacation in paradise. On the first night of the trip, the couple went to dinner on the 7 mile beach and then followed by a romantic walk after watching the sunset. Tory noticed Andrew’s odd behavior when he was acting quiet but assumed he was exhausted from the flight. As the couple approached the hotel, Andrew stopped and said, “you know what, this is not a good place to propose to you.” Andrew then said, “do you mind taking a step to the left?” Confused by Andrew’s statement, Tory looked around to see what he was talking about and then took a step to the left. When she looked up, Andrew was on one knee.
