Oh man do I love this couple. As soon as we joked about going to Space Bar (a grilled cheese bar near my house in Falls Church), I knew we were going to be fast friends. Alison and Ryan are a fabulous couple. There was hardly ever a time when we were not laughing and joking around on this shoot. 

Alison had the idea to snap engagement photos at Barrel Oak Winery at sunset and oh man, am I glad she did! The property is stunning and the owner could not have been nicer. There is no photography fee and we were able to walk anywhere we wanted except the in the vines themselves. The hills were magic. 

One of my favorite things about Alison and Ryan is how low key they are. They were both up for any photo idea or  pose I suggested and whenever I talk to Alison about her wedding, she is just genuinely excited and enjoying the process! I can’t wait until their June wedding and will hopefully meet their kitty Bella (yes, names after Twilight) in the near future. Here are some of my favorite shots of the day!
