Every year, I have a handful of Baltimore brides looking for engagement locations. I have comprised a list of my favorite Virginia, DC and Bucket-List locations so it would only make sense that I would create a Baltimore list! Here are my favorite places to shoot engagement sessions in Maryland.

1. Federal Hill & Fells Point

I captured Dana and Malcom’s engagement here and LOVED it! The two are super close together and the water is stunning at sunrise. 

2. Cylburn Arboretum

Cylburn Arboretum looks like a stunning place to spend a sunset. Spring and Fall would be best here! 

3. The Bromo Seltzer Arts Tower

You can shoot inside the clock! I have always wanted to capture a couple here but there is a $100 fee and it’s only open on Saturdays! Check out my session at the clocktower here! 

4. The Rawlings Conservatory Greenhouse

This greenhouse is PERFECTION inside! Check out their website for more information.

5. Baltimore Aquarium

This one seems super fun! Definitely check out their hours and ticket information before you plan your shoot. 

6. Camden Yards

This one would be perfect for baseball fans! 

7. Sherwood Gardens

Sherwood Gardens would be ideal in spring! If you like blooms then this would be a great location for engagement photos in Baltimore. 

8. Patterson Park

The pagoda seems like the place to photograph! You can check out the park’s website and shoot inside the Pagoda Noon to 6PM on Sundays! 

9. Cloisters Castle

While Cloisters Castle is usually a wedding venue, they do allow portraiture! Be sure to call ahead! 

10. Brookside Gardens

Hours seem to be 9-5PM as listed on the Brookside Gardens website. You need a photography permit ahead of time! 

11. Chase Court

Chase court is ideal for portraits but they have a pretty steep photography rental price!

12. Dye House 

I have always wanted to photograph at the Mt. Washington Mill Dye House. This building has a really amazing feel to it. Definitely a location for the chic couple. 

13. Gramercy Mansion

The Gramercy Mansion is worth checking out even for a staycation!
