Let’s talk about boudoir. Boudoir is a genre of photography that has a special place in my heart. Mostly because it is an art form about female empowerment that takes a high level of skill, empathy and understanding. A bad boudoir shoot can look like porn and make a woman feel self-conscious. A well-executed, styled boudoir session can make you feel invincible and sexy as hell. Cici wanted to capture a few of these portraits as an anniversary gift to her boyfriend but liked the images so much that she ended up making a book for herself too! That is always my goal when going into a shoot like this: establish a type of self-love that you can carry with you beyond the moment with me.
