I love nothing more than a gal with a big laugh. Every time Josh made a joke or I accidentally told them a weird pose/direction, Katie had this radiant laugh that lights up the frame. These two were a bit nervous at the start of this session but a few minutes in they relaxed and really fell into their natural habitat of comfortable love. We snapped these at 4 in the afternoon during the hottest week of the year in D.C. These two are actually getting married in Cancun, Mexico next June so this city heat was great practice for wedding day!

We spent an hour wandering around this secret garden in Washington, D.C. I loved how Katie and Josh had a clear vision for what they wanted (they chose the venue and had one perfectly matched ensemble) but were TOTALLY trusting and very go-with-flow with this session. They trusted me completely to execute their vision and make them feel comfortable in front of he camera. This session was a blast and FLEW by!
