Sarah and Owen stood in the living room of an old historic DC landmark and pledged their lives to one another. These two met abroad in London, him a native and her an American abroad. They decided to elope at Tudor Gardens with only their immediate family in attendance. 9 People witnessed this day (myself included) and the ceremony was officiated by Sarah’s sister in law. They shared a first look in the gardens before a few champagne toasts in the manor house. Sarah is a bit of a shutter bug herself! There was even a camera on their wedding suite! Even though this bride loves to take photos, she admitted that there are barely any photos of her and Owen together! Thanks to this overcast day, there is no shortage of romantic images now! So many details made this day special. Sarah brought some of her grandmother’s heirlooms, the rain held out which made the afternoon weather feel like London and Owen had cufflinks that featured their pupper! Here are some of my favorite digital and film images of their Tudor Place elopement!
