When I look at these photos, I can’t believe they almost didn’t happen! Sarah and Connor decided to elope in DC this fall and thus didn’t know if they ‘needed’ engagement photos. I am so glad they decided to take these snaps in Meridian Hill Park! How many times in your life do you get to dress up and take professional photos with your sweetheart.. the answer is maybe twice if you’re lucky. You never know what weather or excitement wedding day holds so come what may, these two will always have these lovely casual images to look back on and frame in their home. They are definitely more in love than ever in this set! Sarah and Connor chose to have a small wedding in Tudor Place with only immediate family. I love their garden vibes so it only made sense that they would pick this local park to snap their engagement photos. I think it is safe to say that they got all their wedding day nerves out during this shoot; they were such naturals on camera! I can’t wait for their elopement in a few weeks, but until then, here are some of my favorites from their Meridian Hill Park engagement session.
