This engagement gave me major Pride and Prejudice vibes.When Eliza contacted me, she knew she wanted a garden setting and I knew the perfect place! Morven Park has so much visual interest that it’s a lovely engagement location in Northern Virginia. We began at the pond, walked the gardens and then explored the mansion area. The beautiful architecture and greenery was very English and beautifully lush on a warm summer evening. Peter has really only been to DC to visit Eliza so neither of them had been to Morven before. They planned to tie the knot only a few days after this session! His whole family is in Dallas but his parents and siblings made the journey to see Eliza and Peter get married in a little flower shop. This engagement session was the ultimate practice for wedding day! They were naturals at posing and had a blast exploring the property.
