Katie & Taylor’s wedding touched my heart. I’ve known the Quinn family for over a decade so it’s surreal to watch a childhood pal walk down the aisle to marry the love of her life. Good food, great music & a sword exit all added up to one incredible wedding. Katie was the most laid back bride I have ever had. She and Taylor made their planning easy by getting married at their Alma Mater, The Naval Academy, and had their reception at Brittland Manor, almost exactly on the anniversary of her sister Colleen’s wedding that took place at the exact same location! The only thing Katie truly wanted was a big pizza party where everyone had a blast!
This whole wedding was a blast. We had perfect weather and the first look allowed these two to enjoy their cocktail hour AND take a few snaps on the dock later! The only snafu was that the rings were left back at the bridal suite. These two thought fast and borrowed bands from family. These little touches are what marriage is all about: nothing ever goes perfectly but you get by with help from your support network and, as long as you picked the right person, you can laugh at the bumps along the road. That’s exactly what these two did! Here are my favorite shots from the day!
