Katie and Jake met on a Saturday night out in Arlington. They were out enjoying their lives at a bar when Katie mentioned that she was chilly. This seemingly handsome stranger offered her his jacket and the rest was history! Katie and Jake dated long distance throughout Jake’s military commitment. Katie would send him care packages, they would chat on the phone almost daily and she even went to visit him while he was stationed in Korea!

This wedding was truly one of a kind. This whole day was an homage to family history. Katie wore her mother’s dress (which didn’t even need to be altered), her sister sang at her ceremony, and all the wedding photos were done in the brides back yard! I will never forget this reception. I adored the Grand Halle; it was the perfect setting for Jake & Katie’s crazy dance moves!
