I first met Laura & Jeff last winter. They lived in my exact neighborhood about 5 condos down! When we both discovered we liked the Bachelor, we became fast friends. Laura and I had been dating our college sweethearts for about 5 years and got engaged around the same time! It was only fate that I would snap some engagement portraits for them!

The two met in college at St. Francis in their home state of Pennsylvania. This is a story of jock meets… jock! Jeff played football in college and Laura was on the soccer team. Sports have always been a huge part of their lives and the pair are huge Eagles fans! The two met senior year and have been dating ever since. They just recently celebrated their 6-year anniversary, the last before they become Mr. & Mrs. in 2017.

Laura describes Jeff as her rock; the person she can always count on. As made very clear from their engagement session, Jeff can make Laura laugh like no other and he looks her in a way that says “forever.” Since his proposal on the beach last summer, the two have been in wedding planning bliss and can’t wait to tie the knot in front of friends and family back home. We spent a cloudy afternoon at Meridian Hill park in Washington, D.C. The popular fountain has been dry until this month! What luck! Laura and Jeff may have made the fountain come alive indeed!Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day:
