If you ever wanted to see what an all American wedding looks like: this is it. Carolyn and Matt adorned the colors of the United States Flag- red, wedding white, and blue. This was the first wedding that truly felt like fall! Even her bouquet had hints of red and fall-esque florals. I was so thankful that Brett Denfeld hired me to help capture this day! 

We arrived at the Renaissance Hotel in the middle of DC. The bridesmaids wore matching shirts and had mini bottles of champagne courtesy of the bride! After a morning of giggles, Matt and Carolyn did their heart felt first look right across the street! 

As far as venues go, Lincoln’s Cottage was the best! We had amazing weather and every corner of the land was picturesque. Even this candid shot of them walking up the stairs could be an advertisement! My favorite part of the wedding was hands-down the fact that they got big-head Lincoln himself to surprise guests at the wedding!
