Magnolia Plantation Wedding | Charleston Wedding Photography

If you get married during a tropical storm, you should be given a medal of honor. Just my two cents! Taylor and Lauren planned a destination wedding in Charleston for the closest friends and family and it was insanely beautiful. Yes, it rained and no, it wasn’t the EXACT day they had planned- the power went out twice, there was no break in the rain and all portraits were done on a covered porch. But all that aside, this love these two share is palpable. There were so many moments on this day I will hold in my mind forever. The way Taylor helped carry Lauren’s dress, the way they reacted when they first saw their reception space and the looks they exchanged when walking back down the aisle together. In years to come, I probably won’t even remembered that it rained. This was a destination wedding for the couple and their guests! These two actually live in New England and decided to throw a southern affair complete with a VW bus, insanely intricate details and event design that only a bride in the industry could create. It was a joy getting to know this couple and their friends and family. I swear, Lauren and her gals made me feel like a rockstar all day long being so complimentary of my images and work!
