When your parents have been best friends for years, you know your personalities will be an epic fit! These two will have no problems with the in-laws… if anything, it will be harder to plan wedding seating with all sides wanting to hang out together! Kiara and Panayioti were one of my favorite couples to photograph. He gets up early for work so this groom to be was his glorious goofy self all morning! In fact, Kiara actually surprised him with this 6am engagement shoot. How many grooms do you know who would be stoked for a surprise photoshoot at sunrise? Not many. We snapped this session just feet from where Panayioti proposed. He took Kiara to the pier and popped the questions in front of La Vie: where their families were waiting to surprise them with dinner. They’re still in the process of wedding planning. The pandemic doesn’t exactly encourage 200+ person weddings for big Greek and Italian families! I can wait to see where their wedding journey takes them. No matter what, they’ll be dancing and laughing the whole way through. Here are some of my fave snaps from their Wharf engagement session.
