John and Maria found me through past clients and just knew they wanted DC Monument engagement photos. Since Jefferson is under construction and the Capitol is fenced off due to the insurrection, we landed on Lincoln. What a time to be engaged in DC! We woke up early to catch the sunrise light and were met with an unusual crowd of folks: sunrise watchers, early runners and even a film crew! Weekends on the national mall can be quite the event. These two were just adorable and got a rare day in March with warm temperatures and sunny skies. They let me flex my more creative muscles getting some unusual snaps and it paid off!
