Not only is this one of my favorite sessions of all time, this is one of my favorite couples of all time! The second I met these two for beers, we felt like old friends. Daniel gets my obscure Mad Men references & Lauren is a hilarious tattooed goddess. We snuck around DC’s best garden, Dumbarton Oaks, right before they closed the doors for renovation until 2018!

I have known Charlotte forever! We swam on the same club team in high school in Boca Raton, Florida. She was always a breath of fresh air and so fun to be around. She is not only stunning and kind but she is also a Marine! Charlotte’s commitment to her country lead her on a journey to meet the love of her life: Joe.

Oh man do I have a soft spot for this couple! Not only do I appreciate a man who plans to have a photographer capture the most important question of his life but I also have a tendency to adore sarcasm. Given those two facts, Raumil was the perfect client. This couple was a dream to photograph and I was able to do so alongside my dear photographer friend Marirosa! Best. Day. Ever.

It was 6:30AM on a Sunday when I met with Jonathan and Erin. The two both admitted to being rather camera shy and felt that the concept of posing for an hour was a bit unnatural; I couldn’t agree more! No one is used to having a stranger capture intimate moments of kissing and nuzzling. After a few warm up poses, these two became naturals! I couldn’t believe how much fun they were having! This completely reaffirmed my beliefs that a couple should do an engagement session before their big day.
