It took us awhile to figure out where we wanted to do Paris and Tim’s engagement session but we finally landed on Capitol Hill near the Library of Congress. We started at sunrise and had the whole place to ourselves! I had the best time photographing Paris after having captured her sister’s engagement over a […]

I always feel a sense of pride and humility when a couple asks me to photograph their elopement or intimate wedding. In some cases, I am the only one to witness their vows. In this case, it was only immediate family! It feels so so special to be one of 8 guests. Taine and Tim, […]

Little did she know, her family was also waiting around the corner for hugs and champagne! Here are my favorite images from this surprise capitol hill proposal. […]

Renee and Eric are my ideal clients. They are game for almost any photo suggestion, are madly in love and are cute as hell. These two wanted classic DC photos before heading off to tie the knot in Mexico! Eric works a lot near the capitol and is very into visual arts so was super involved in the creative process which I LOVED! These guys had a clear vision and it was a JOY executing it!

These two have a very cool history. They actually met online but come to find out, their families are from the same small town in India and their grandfathers used to be NEXT DOOR NEIGHBORS. How crazy is that!? I can’t believe that these two would find one another hundreds of miles away decades after their families knew one another. I think it’s safe to say that fate stepped in here.
