I always feel insanely honored when other photographers choose me to photograph them. Rosi and I met via social media but officially met IRL during cherry blossom season. We were amongst the hundreds of sunrise photographers at the Jefferson memorial this spring. After meeting in person, we vowed to keep in touch!

True life: I was dying to do this photoshoot. A few years back, I met Cecillia at a work Christmas party. About a year later, she told me that she was interested in starting her own business (which would eventually turn into Postskript)! One of my major passions in life is helping people find their dream job and I also love connecting people that can build each other up and make those dreams reality.

Bam. Have you ever seen someone so stunning in their nickers? I haven’t! Ellese and I planned a little boudoir session as a wedding gift for Dave while we were visiting Tulum and she was kind enough to let me share them on the blog. How lucky am I?!  The inspiration for this shoot was natural bohemian-chic. We agreed that we wanted to accent Ellese’s natural features by minimizing makeup, hair and any kind of retouching.

Let’s talk about boudoir. Boudoir is a genre of photography that has a special place in my heart. Mostly because it is an art form about female empowerment that takes a high level of skill, empathy and understanding. A bad boudoir shoot can look like porn and make a woman feel self-conscious. A well-executed, styled boudoir session can make you feel invincible and sexy as hell.
