Tory & Isaac met through mutual friends who stood by their sides as best man and matron of honor at their July wedding at the DC Arts Club. Their intimate city wedding was supposed to be nothing but rain all day but all we saw were tiny droplets here and there. It barely sprinkled on our Lincoln memorial parade as we walked with clear umbrellas in hand. The two turned the Arts Club into a chic, elegant event.

Seeing as they are both only children, this wedding was extremely meaningful for both families. They were married in the same theater room that was later turned over into dinner and dancing. Live music filled the air as Tory & Issac danced in the room adorned with paintings just as beautiful as they were.

I loved everything about Tory & Issac’s wedding day. Their unique details, the intimate setting, how often Tory got weepy-eyed…. Everything! They are such a genuine couple that loves being around one another. The morning started at Hotel Lombary right next to their Arts Club of DC wedding venue. Tory had every District of Columbia detail you could imagine. She had the quintessential cherry blossom stamp on her invitations and kept a penny in her shoe for good luck. We would then travel to that exact monument and take photos right near the penny president: Lincoln. Before the ceremony, Issac & Tory exchanged wedding gifts: for Tory, Issac donated towards saving the monkeys at the zoo which came with a plush monkey stuffed animal; she loved it! Tory made Issac a photo book of their relationship which featured some of their engagement photos! I loved it as much as he did! Due to rain, the two tied the knot inside the piano room of the art gallery and danced the night away in the exact same room.
