Although I’ve known these two for under a year, I feel as though we were meant to be best friends! Perhaps that’s how all athletes feel; we tend to value the same things and approach life in very similar ways. Kelsey and Brett are big fitness fans and live healthy lives filled with good friends, family and good (home-cooked) food. Kelsey and Brett met online and went for their first date to bike around the National mall. It only seems natural that these two would plan a stunning laid back wedding with tons of friends, games and wine.
One major theme of their wedding was thankfulness. Each wrote notes to one another and to family expressing their love. It was also extremely apparent how strong their network of friends is. Brett’s groomsmen were all personified as superheros (Brett as Captain America) and vowed to be there to support him and Kelsey in their marriage while Kelsey’s sister gave a beautiful tear-filled speech from her heart. I adored the new Mr. & Mrs. Tressler and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for them! Here are some of my favorite shots from the day!
