The second Becca and Malcolm got engaged, I just knew I had to capture their wedding! These two were actually in Zach and Lauren’s Richmond wedding that I captured this spring and they were just the cutest pair tearing up the dance floor and having a blast. Malcolm has this energy about him that makes people feel immediately at ease.. he actually sings beautifully and can chat on end about the Bachelorette. Becca is his perfect counter part. She feels like an instant friend and has been so go-with-the-flow about most of the pre-wedding planning. In fact, I suggested engagement photos at the Virginia House and she was on board even having never been there! They’re exactly my type of couple.
We actually began this session where Malcolm proposed: on this long bridge looking out on the Richmond Skyline. We chatted all about family and wedding day plans before ending at this secret garden. This session was shot mostly on 120mm film and I LOVED how these two trusted me to get creative and have a little fun in the process. They toured me by their wedding venue and oh man The Jefferson does not disappoint!! You know it was a good morning when we spent 3 hours together chatting and laughing. Here are my favorite snaps from the morning!
