These two have the most infectious laugh of all time. I think this was the most like a guest I have ever felt while working a wedding. Christina and Robbie planned a New Years Eve wedding at Stone Tower but they just couldn’t wait to tie the knot so they moved this affair up to September! This felt very much like a small elopement and I loved every minute of it. Although I have shot many weddings at Stone Tower Winery, I have never photographed one in the Harvest Barn. These two did a First Look between the vines, all portraits before their hillside ceremony and hosted an intimate dinner above the barn in the stunning quaint space. I would say that Love and Food were the two themes of the evening! These two had a BBQ station, a Taco Bar, appetizer Pizza, an insane cookie dough filled cake, a S’mores pit and a late night slider bar. When everyone is full all night long yet can’t stop eating, that’s how ya know you did wedding food right. Although the food was amazing, I think what I will remember most about this wedding is the amazing laughter from Christina and the emotional tear filled moments from both the bride and groom.
The dancing was just as fun to watch as it was to participate in! These two hired a live band and cut a rug all night long. Christina added extra hours to make sure I stayed until the end to be sure to capture all the fun! Her brother in law ended the night singing the Killers with the band and even Robbie got to play drums for the final song! I loved this Friday wedding and wish more couples would focus on guest experience like these two. Here are my favorite snaps from this summer Stone Tower Winery Wedding.
