Clifton Inn Wedding | The Clifton Wedding Photos | Charlottesville Wedding Photographer | Amanda and Don

 When Amanda booked me for her wedding day in 2019, we had plans to go to Italy. They booked a private villa outside of Florence in Tuscany. We would stay with them all week take beautiful pictures and drink amazing wine at Borgo Scopeto. Then of course the pandemic happened. We did the responsible thing and moved from May 2020 to May 2021. Well, a year went by and Italy was still struggling as were many international destinations. Amanda and Don were sick of postponing their lives and just wanted to be a happily married couple so pushing Italy to another year seemed exhausting and rightfully so. We decided to bring Italy to Virginia. Amanda booked the Clifton in and decided to lean in to all the Tuscan details to make this weekday wedding feel like a destination. They drink wine from their original venue, had amazing live music, did their first look at a tree lined drive, and even had a gelato cart. It was one of the most beautiful days regardless of ZIP code. Can’t believe it’s over and already dreaming of an Italian vow renewal for these cuties in decades to come.
