Since my husband works in hotels, I often get the question, “Kir, what are your favorite DC hotels?” I will also say, so many DC weddings are at a church or reception space so a getting ready area is needed! The better the room, the better your getting ready imagery and often times, First Look location. Without further adieu, here are my favorite DC Hotels! Contact me if you want to see sample images of the spaces! I’ve captured weddings in most of these darling spaces.

The Riggs

The Riggs is by far my favorite space. Yummy food, fun design by Jacu Strauss and a bar that used to be a bank vault!

The Willard

Every room in the Willard is stunning! You can do tea and get married in 2 different room spaces! No rain plan needed.

Hay Adams

It’s impossible to be more iconic than The Hay Adams. Their rooftop gives the best DC views and you can go to Off the Record where politicians used to talk shop “off the record”.

Hotel Washington

Hotel Washington is the redesigned W hotel. Super modern with great views at The View bar upstairs.

Fairmont

If you want to get married in a glass atrium, this is your closest option! The Fairmont has an amazing courtyard for Happy Hour as well!

Omni Shoreham

The Omni has a European Garden and a lovely pergola. Great service and bigger capacity!

St Regis

The St Regis is French vibes to the max. The rooms are stunning and the lobby is a masterpiece. They offer courtyard weddings as well!

Waldorf Astoria

The Waldorf used to be the Old Post Office! Brand new restaurants and redesign make it a must see.

Conrad

If you like clean lines and neutrals, the Conrad is for you. Floor to ceiling windows make portraits a breeze here and it has a great roof view!

Mayflower

If you like a more European charm, this is a great option! The Mayflower has big ballrooms for receptions and a great location!

The Line

Are you more of a West Coast vibe? Then the Line is for you! Great rooftop for ceremonies!

Eaton

Eaton is has some truly funky vibes. Newly opened and such flare!

Your Truly

A vibes little 70s feel is at Yours Truly Hotel. If you like records, this should be for you!

Intercontinental Wharf

The Wharf is one of the newest spots for luxury weddings and the Intercontinental has amazing windows and water views!

Thompson Hotel

The Thompson Hotel is great if you’re getting married on the Wharf! Great rooftop as well!

Hotel Monaco

We’re back in Europe again with Hotel Monaco! Great style and in house weddings as well!

The Jefferson

The Jefferson has a French elegance that I ADORE. The bar is a vibe as well.
