I am lucky enough to say this was my fourth time in Paris. I first went at twenty-two, my second summer after college on a Contiki. I was only there a weekend so I planned to go back the following year with Ben! My soon-to-be husband had to see my favorite city. My third trip was in the summer of 2016 with my gal pal Katie before attending a workshop in the South of France. This was an impromptu vacation with another bestie and my first time in Paris in the wintertime and it was MAGIC. Here are my favorite snaps and itinerary from our perfect Parisian winter getaway.

Day One: Check in and Shopping

We took the redeye and landed at 7am to have a full day in Paris! We stayed near Notre Dame at the Petit Belloy. The 3 hotels still on my list to stay are Saint James, Le Metropolitan and Charles Floquet! Our goal was to hit the Brocante Flea or try to go to the Paris flea market but in order to stay close, we hit Rue St. Dominique, Cafe Flore and took in the view at Square Rapp before lunch at Le Recruitment Cafe. We ended with dinner at Alcazar!

Day Two: Eating, Shopping, Museums

We had brunch at La Favorite (Hotel Emile) which was a visual treat. We wandered around the area taking photos, stopping in cafes and trying to find fleas (Blvd Beaumarchais). We scoped out Bistrot des Tournelles and walked along the river & Saint Chapelle area before hitting the Rodin Museum. While we didn’t make time to stop in the Dilettantes Cave a Champagne, we ended up wandering the gardens and eating at Cafe Jade! 10/10 would recommend.

Day Three: Photoshoot, Montmartre, Macaroons

We started with an 8am shoot at Monument à Luís de Camões & the Trocadero. You can see my full session here! We had planned to walk over the Ponte de Alexandre bridge and see the Petit Palais but we were so cold we just went to tea and then lunch at Pink Mama before exploring Montmartre area and Sacre Coeur.

Day 4: Headshots, Hotel Hopping, Cafes

Our final day, we walked around Saint Germain and snapped some headshots around the Louvre & Palais Royal before stopping in to Angelina’s. We visited Cafe Jade one more time before hitting up a local bar and late night crepes!

There ya have it folks! If ya want a more touristy version, check out my earlier blog post! This trip is for those who have already played the hits (seen the Mona Lisa, been to the top of the Eiffel Tower etc.) It’s more of a local guide to Paris in winter! Bon Voyage!
