Allison and Dave are one of the most laid back couples I have worked with. The two met in DC and have lived in the city for years around Logan Circle so it stands to reason that we would snap engagement photos around the place they call home. We started at The Coffee Bar and got super lucky with an early blooming tree nearby!

After drinking our coffees and chatting about their May Georgetown wedding, we ventured over to Lover’s Lane, where Dave proposed! Months earlier, Dave took Allison on a stroll behind Dumbarton Oaks garden. Once they reached a tiny bridge, Dave got down on one knee and asked her if she would “eat tacos together forever”. Needless to say the answer was yes! Here are my favorite shots from their springtime engagement shoot!
