I first met Katie & Jake in my living room! I usually never do in person consultations but this pair knew it was such a big decision that they wanted to meet face to face… even Katie’s parents tagged along! As we sat in my condo, we immediately clicked, all 5 of us! The easy jokes and classic wedding plans were as if I was in a dream. Although they are planning a large scale wedding at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, you could 100% picture Katie & Jake eloping with their easy-going nature and fun-loving attitudes towards life.

These two knew they wanted to do an engagement session with the cherry blossoms which speaks to my heart because Ben and I ALSO did a cherry blossom engagement when we were engaged over 5 years ago! Jake proposed to Katie on a rainy evening at the Lincoln memorial so I was THRILLED that we were met with perfect weather for their sunrise session! I am counting the minutes until wedding day but to tide us all over until that day, here are some of my favorites from their session!
