I first met Emily and Andrew back in springtime. I hosted cherry blossom mini sessions for families and couples to come and get snaps with DC’s fluffy pink blooms. I had a few engaged couples but Emily and Andrew ere my last slot of the day so I got to hang out with them a bit longer than the 15 minutes! They lucked out with golden hour (and her style was PERFECT with the bouquet I had on hand!). I loved their set of images so much that couldn’t help but include a few of these snaps in this post as well.

I guess they liked me as much as I liked them because these two ended up hiring me for their wedding day! Fast forward to summer and it was time for engagement photos! Emily & Andrew knew they wanted some classic DC pictures and since the monuments were crawling with tourists during cherry blossom season, summer was the perfect time! They even brought their dog Rilo to their sunrise engagement session! Here are a few of my favorite snaps with these goofballs from their engagement season of life!
