This couple was supposed to get married in spring but the universe had other plans. When the pandemic hit, Sydney and Colin decided to move their wedding in July. They didn’t know what the future held but they decided to get married, come what may. Just days after this wedding, Pittsburgh shut down indoor spaces yet again. With all the last minute changes, this couple deserved all the best luck they could get.. and they cashed in! We were met with clear skies and seconds after portraits were done, buckets of rain came down on us. What a world.
The day began with some getting ready photos and a father daughter first look that tugged at the heart strings. All guests safely wore masks to the ceremony and sat two pews between all groups. Once we snapped portraits at Mellon park, we headed to SouthPointe Golf Course for some dinner and dancing! Their bravery and love inspired us all and seeing Sydney and Colin finally tie the knot with giant smiles on their faces was one of the highlights of the year for me. I adore you both and working with you and your families was the perfect day. Here are some of my favorite snaps from the day. Cheers to the newlyweds!
