Erika & Spencer actually met while working at hot dog place! You would never ever suspect their How They Met story to be so quirky when these two are so glamorous. After a few snaps, I suggested that we do a few serious poses to which they replied “oh that’s way more us anyways!” The amount of mood and romance in each shot makes this session one of my personal favorites.

Ellie & Joseph are a classic D.C. couple- they have insane style and are ADORABLE. These two actually fell in love after their first ever experience on Hinge! They both were not super into online dating so it’s a good thing they were each other’s first date on any dating app! These D.C. cuties will tie the knot in Charleston where Joseph’s family resides and I’m sure it’ll be an affair to remember!

Would you believe me if I told you that these two hired me at 11pm the night before their sunrise engagement session? Their photographer fell ill and since this pair works around the clock in the medical field, this was the only day they could make work! I’m so glad I could serve a couple in love that serves humanity!

Alicia and Kenny were visiting just in time for the cherry blossoms! These two eloped and and never actually got formal portraits captured so they thought they should get all gussied up and celebrate their love with an anniversary session! These two met in DC before their trip to Korea so it seemed fitting that they would snap photos where it all began.

Shira & Brian are the sweetest pair. Their love is super natural and they both have a casual spirit about them that I love. We decided to snap engagement photos in one of their favorite places: Baltimore. These two got to love this city and it’s where their relationship blossomed. They would spend time walking around the waterfront and enjoying good food and scenic sunsets together. What a better way to celebrate your relationship than to commemorate your favorite spots together.

When L told me she wanted to gift her groom with some sultry bridal boudoir, I was over the moon! I just adore this bride and was thrilled to honor her wedding bod through imagery! These images will forever be frozen in time so when she is old and grey, she can look back and remember her youth and how it felt to be a bride to be.

Jenifer and Vincent actually live in California together but seem to be world travelers. These two got engaged in Mexico and were in D.C visiting family this March when they decided to snap engagement photos! They missed the Cherry Blossoms by one week but were determined to get some classic District of Columbia engagement pictures when they were in town so we woke up at sunrise and were met with 30 degree temps and crazy wind! Although this couple seems to be beach enthusiasts, they did fabulously in the cold!

Kaitlin & Ishan love each other so much that they got married TWICE. These newlyweds wanted to honor Ishan’s heritage and have a large traditional Indian wedding in India as well as this stunning wedding at Stone Tower Winery! Their multi-day celebration in India was the first ceremony to honor their eternal commitment before also affirming their commitment in a church in Virgina. I think it’s amazing when two people of different backgrounds blend their heritage and honor tradition in both ways!

When Sarah from Intrigue Designs asks if you would like to take photos in her stunning floral workshop, you say YES! Intrigue is one of the world’s best floral designers and they host workshops all around the globe. This year, Sarah just so happened to host one at Prism in Annapolis! I loved the minimalism of the space and the white walls were the perfect accompaniment to all of the wildly creative blooms.

Amy and Cam braved the cold weather to have their iconic Jefferson engagement session at the first week of spring! Since it was an overcast morning, we started this session at 8AM! We had the Jefferson Memorial all to ourselves and were met with nothing but even light! We explored all around the tidal basin before heading to Alexandria where these two lovebirds live.
