Caroline and Dan are the epitome of a classic couple. These two met at Station Nine in Durham at an ugly sweater party while both attending Duke. Dan, then a second year business school student, hosted the party when he met the love of his life. As an homage to their beginnings, the two now host an ugly sweater party every year! Dan proposed on a private island overlooking the barrier reef in Australia. To this day it is still one of their favorite trips regardless of the proposal! Although I think their honeymoon in Sri Lanka and the Maldives will be hard to beat!

Their Idaho wedding was filled with personal touches and whimsy. Caroline grew up in Sun Valley and even got ready in her childhood home down the street from their venue. While these two have very demanding jobs and travel all over for work, they now call San Francisco home. They are big California wine buffs and wine played a major theme in their wedding as did chinoiserie. The classic Carolina blue theme gave this Sun Valley wedding a touch of east coast class.
