I definitely have a tad bit of biased favoritism towards this couple! Not only because they are having a stunning idyllic wedding in Italy that I get to photograph this fall but also because I have known Andrew since he was a little kid! I used to have sleepovers at the Jones’s house all the time in high school. Lara’s little brother would be running around with the dogs and poking fun at all our girly slumber party activities. Over ten years later, he is all grown up and getting MARRIED!

I also had the unique chance to get to spend some quality time with Brittany during this last year as we shared bridesmaids’ duties for Lara’s wedding. She is a genuine, kind and super thoughtful person. She is also wicked creative! She bakes, she teaches and she draws better than anyone I know! To top it all off, he is super modest about all these incredible skills. The two are a match made in heaven.

When deciding on a location for engagement portraits, Andrew and Brittany knew they wanted to explore stunning South Florida. They got engaged in Paris for goodness sake! It is hard to top that! We decided on Vizcaya in Miami, Florida. It was totally perfect for their Italian wedding theme! The museum is floor to ceiling elegance. The dock looks like it is straight out of a scene in Venice, Italy. The iron gates and dramatic stairs made for the perfect portraits!
