So often in life, we don’t slow down to really appreciate the every day, the usual, the mundane. So much goes uncaptured. That said, I wanted to take 30 minutes on moving day to memorialize our first day in our new home in Alexandria, Virginia.

Don’t you think this looks like an Anthropologie add?! I don’t often shoot families but I just can’t say no to Adleigh and Chace! They are the perfect clients. They are super in love and have the easiest/most smiley little girl on the planet. I am heartbroken that these two moved to Iowa right after this session. This little family wanted one last photo session in their favorite spot overlooking the city. Adleigh decided to pack a little picnic which was the perfect way to enjoy the grassy spot near the Iwo Jima memorial.
