Destination engagements are by far a favorite. They have become few and far between since I just don’t have the capacity in my schedule to take over 30 trips for each of my 2023 weddings. That said, I loved this chilly NYC engagement with Angeline and Kevin! We started in Central Park and made our […]

When a planner friend asks you to do a day trip to NYC to photograph this amazing elopement vibe, you immediately say yes. I have been wanting to shoot at 620 Loft and Garden for FOREVER. It is my favorite New York City wedding venue. What goes even better with old New York than the […]

Already counting the minutes until this wedding. Jess and Jonathan are tying the knot on the coast of Rhode Island… only fitting for a groom in the oyster business! We wanted to pay homage to their New York City love story so we decided to take classic NYC engagement photos in Central Park and near […]

When a couples comes to you through the swimming world, you know it is going to be an amazing affair! Jenna grew up swimming in New York with one of my Duke teammates! She reached out when Andy proposed and the rest is history! It’s crazy that the first time we met in person was […]

Fanny and Fazim are a photographers DREAM. They changed from semi-formal to full on formal as their second look during their engagement session. A couple after my own heart! They have such style but are also such good sports about pictures! We joked around and had a FABULOUS early morning session in New York City for their session! I have always wanted to shoot at the Top of the Rock and DUMBO so I was over the moon when these two agreed to both!

Oh man.. the Biggs family is making me a fan of family photography! I am not even kidding when I say that Olivia looked and smiled right at the camera for nearly two straight hours. What an incredible baby!! When these two college swimmers asked me to document their growing little family, I couldn’t help but say yes!

What. A. Couple. I feel like I have to share a funny anecdote before telling you about this wedding. About 2 weeks before, Meghan and Ryan were both guests at a mutual friend’s wedding that my husband and I also attended. About 10 minutes into the reception, these two were TEARING IT UP on the dance floor having the best time any guest could possibly have. I tried to sneak a quick iPhone picture of their cuteness when my husband caught me. He said, “Why are you creeping on that couple?” To which I responded, “I’m photographing their wedding in a few weeks. LOOK HOW CUTE!” Ben then rolled his eyes and said, I think you’ll take much better ones of them dancing on THEIR wedding then, right?”

This is a radical departure from 99% of the work that I tend to shoot. I have devoted my business to mostly weddings but every once in a while I like to do a passion project that keeps me creative and having fun. In my life, building up other women entrepreneurs is something I am super passionate about and I particularly love women with a hilarious sense of humor.

I have known Leslie for ten years. We both swam our entire lives and she was actually my recruit at Duke! In fact, she was my very first recruit when I was 17 years old. As the younger sister in my household, I was so excited to finally be able to host someone and be the “big sis”. I even have a Facebook album that is titled “Leslie is coming to Duke”. Although we became fast friends, she ended up attending Princeton and thank goodness she did because this is where she met Mason.
