Austin had a very specific vision for this proposal. He knew he wanted to ask Sarah to marry him in front of the lake at Stone Tower. The private pond was an extremely romantic setting and I got to hide in plain sight and have a picnic on the hillside! After he proposed, we took […]

When Ryan reached out to me to capture his proposal, I knew it was going to be a good one. This couple was in town visiting Meredith’s family from Florida. They had actually never been to Stone Tower Winery so Ryan scheduled a little tour to set up the surprise. After the grabbed their wine, […]

Sarah and Colin are MARRIED ya’ll! These cuties had to move their date not once, not twice but THREE times. It was for sure a wild ride! These doctors have crazy schedules and know that they don’t want to wait be to newlyweds any longer. They downsized the guest list and spent all day outside […]

Jamie and Adam wanted a romantic winter wedding lit by candle light and they certainly achieved it! These two combined traditions from Egyptian and Jewish cultures to create a beautiful fusion wedding that was a lovely start to the holiday season. The day started for Adam at the Lansdowne Resort. He was joined by his […]

These two fun-loving book worms met in a library so it was only obvious that they lean into this theme with check out cards as their seating chart! I actually loved every single design element of Alex & Alyse’s Stone Tower Winery Wedding. This couple planned a stunning day with incredible guest experience for their […]

These two have the most infectious laugh of all time. I think this was the most like a guest I have ever felt while working a wedding. Christina and Robbie planned a New Years Eve wedding at Stone Tower but they just couldn’t wait to tie the knot so they moved this affair up to […]

Kaitlin & Ishan love each other so much that they got married TWICE. These newlyweds wanted to honor Ishan’s heritage and have a large traditional Indian wedding in India as well as this stunning wedding at Stone Tower Winery! Their multi-day celebration in India was the first ceremony to honor their eternal commitment before also affirming their commitment in a church in Virgina. I think it’s amazing when two people of different backgrounds blend their heritage and honor tradition in both ways!

The best way to described Abby and Mike is through the last 10 minutes of their wedding day. Sweaty and excited from dancing, they were the last two on the dance floor thanking the vendors and hugging their drunk friends who were lingering the longest. A jacketless Mike and a balero-less Abby requested one last photo with the mutual friend that introduced them as a couple. Before running through their sparklers, Mike had me shove late night Taco Bell Burritos in his suit before booking it to their after party.

Although I’ve known these two for under a year, I feel as though we were meant to be best friends! Perhaps that’s how all athletes feel; we tend to value the same things and approach life in very similar ways. Kelsey and Brett are big fitness fans and live healthy lives filled with good friends, family and good (home-cooked) food. Kelsey and Brett met online and went for their first date to bike around the National mall. It only seems natural that these two would plan a stunning laid back wedding with tons of friends, games and wine.

It honestly took me awhile to put my thoughts down about this wedding. I met Lauren and Daniel what seems like forever ago at a beer garden in Virginia. We talked about our mutual love of Pete Holmes, Halloween and running. The way they described their relationship and wedding day vision reminded me so much of me and my own husband. I think I was counting the minutes until this day just like them!
