Oh Lincoln Memorial sunrise engagement sessions, how I love thee. This light and this location may never get old. Ashley and Will were my first couple ever to do have photos taken at the Lincoln and Jefferson Monuments in one session. I was surprised at how easy the transition was!

In the field of photography, there are heaps of learning opportunities to choose from. There is no shortage of educational experiences ranging from one-on-one mentoring to huge auditorium filled conferences. But how are you to know where to spend your time and money? Here are five questions to consider when selecting your educational experience. 

This couple definitely embodies my ideal clientele. They are a “true, authentic couple” and I was honored to be a part of their day. Amy and Craig said “I do” and broke the glass at an intimate wedding ceremony at the Woodend Nature Sanctuary  this July! Also known as the Audubon Naturalist Society, this wedding venue is perfect for a couple that loves the outdoors. Given that Amy & Craig are active hikers, runners and bikers, this location was a no brainer! 

Well, we did it! We made it one full year as a married couple. Although we have known each other for about a decade and have been together for 6 years, there is something so special about the first year of marriage. I really do feel like Ben and I work as a team, sometimes to a fault.

Lauren & Robbie were probably my favorite wedding of the year. Not only because they were the sweetest, most genuine couple to work with but also because they fed into my Halloween obsession. If I could plan a wedding to photograph, this would have been it. I was obsessed with every last detail from their back story down to their décor choices.
