Would you just LOOK at this stunning family? I mean, come on. This shoot is very close to my heart because, growing up, Jenny was my next door neighbor. We used to play capture the flag, put soap suds on her trampoline and swim on the same club team. She was even the very first wedding I attended! The Marshes are my second family and I could not be more honored to capture a day in her life.

Easter weekend, I had planned to shoot these two new parents but if you’re not planning for rain, you’re going to get it! We moved this darling session inside so I could still capture these adorable parents and their mini-me’s. I’m almost happy that we got rained out so we could take a peek into their perfect little home!

Meet Cameron and Caitlin! These two under the age of two are a handful and full of personality. Cameron kept shrugging and pointing as if he were a young frat star and Caitlin acted as if she had been photographed her whole life! I don’t think I have a single picture where she is not staring at the camera. What a doll!

I am so lucky to call Jenny and Guffey (Jon) my friends. They are blessed with two amazing healthy children and make wonderful parents. Thanks for showing me the long road ahead is paved with roses (even though it involves diapers)!
