This was one of my favorite weddings to date! Jeanette and Drew were a super fun couple who knew the importance of friends, family and food. Their wedding day was all about spending time with their loved ones and celebrating their love. I had the privilege of capturing their big day alongside Becky Wilcher. Not only was the wedding amazing but I was also so inspired by watching Becky work!

As a wedding photographer, you get to spend 8 or more hours with two people on the best day of their life. It is a feeling that cannot be described. The emotions of excitement, worry and tears never get old for me. There was not a single moment that I spent with Drew and Jeanette where they were not smiling.

You can also tell how great a wedding will be once you meet the parents of the bride and groom. Both moms and fathers were amazingly sweet and so thrilled to be apart of their childrens’ special day. It was super evident that the feeling was mutual.

Even through the lengthy Catholic mass, the pair could not stop giggling and smiling. It was an honor to be a witness to their nuptials. The beautiful couple had a wedding party of 20, including their family members.

Good times and good BBQ was had at their rustic reception in Gaithersburg MD.By the end of the day, they felt more like family than clients. I wish Jeanette and Drew a life of love, happiness and laughter.
