Every year, I have couples ask me where to tie the knot! To try to help out, I decided to make a list about the Best DC Wedding Locations and it was such a hit that I decided to turn it into a little series. Without further adieu here are my favorite rustic Northern Virginia Wedding Venues (in no particular order.) 

1. Morais Vineyards & Winery

Morais Vineyards makes you feel like you’re at a destination wedding right in your own back yard. If you’re looking for an elegant Virginia winery wedding, you can’t go wrong with a Morais Vineyards wedding.

2. Breaux Vineyards 

Breaux Vineyards is a wedding paradise in Northern Virginia. You can go wine tasting to check out the venue!

3. Bluemont Winery

Bluemont Vineyard weddings are amazing! You can check out their wedding page for more information!

4. Winery at Bull Run

The Winery at Bull Run is a sweet space for your wedding. Check out my sweetheart session at the winery!

5. Greenhill Winery

Greenhill Winery has amazing food and a great atmosphere. You definitely need to see it at sunset!

6. Stone Tower Winery

Stone Tower Winery weddings are my favorite! I have shot here in spring and summer!

7. Vertias Winery

Veritas Winery is a little further south but it’s worth the drive! The Blue Ridge Mountains are the perfect backdrop for a wedding.

8. Murray Hill 

Murray Hill is Virginia’s best kept wedding secret. Check out Lauren & Robbie’s wedding here!

9. Blue Valley Vineyard and Winery

Blue Valley Vineyard and Winery is another great rustic wedding venue. I love the sunsets on this property!

10. 48 Fields 

48 Fields is a personal favorite! I just adore the owner Kelly and the barn is just darling.

11. The Barns at Wolf Trap

The Barns at Wolf Trap is not an obvious choice but fits a large number of guests and is stunning while dressed up!

12. The Inn at Old Silk Mill

13. Barrel Oak Winery

Barrel Oak Winery weddings have amazing sunsets. I fell in love with this venue during Alison & Ryan’s engagement session.

14. Marriott Ranch 

Marriott Ranch seems an unlikely venue but it may be the only hotel I would recommend for a rustic venue! Alexis and Ray had the most darling wedding here!

15. Tranquility Farms 

Tranquility Farms is a just darling. There are so many portrait options you’ll fall in love if you visit!  

16. Zion Springs

Zion Springs has a great reception area! I adore all seasons at this wedding venue.

17. The Barns at Hamilton Station in Hamilton

The Barns at Hamilton Station is just beautiful at night and during the day! A must visit for sure.

18. Silverbrook Farm in Purcellville

Silverbrook Farm is a quiet romantic setting for a Virginia wedding. Pictures don’t do this place justice!

19. Riverside on the Potomac

Riverside on the Potomac is the perfect combination of water and barn. You can get ready, married and celebrate all on the same property!
