I have had a serious couple crush on Dana and Malcom since we met for their engagement photos last spring. I friend and insta-follow all of my brides and grooms once they book me and I really love the way Dana and Malcom live their lives in authenticity. Dana is a teacher in Baltimore and writes poetry about race, love and what it’s like to be in an interracial couple. Malcom is an engineer, cartoonist and fellow cat lover. This couple had a rad wedding that represented the rad people that they are.

Malcom and Dana had been dating long distance since they met until Malcom moved up to Baltimore after they got engaged to end the distance! He proposed on a weekend getaway to New York City- one of Dana’s favorite places. When planning their wedding, we talked a lot about unique venues in Dana’s home state of Pennsylvania. They eventually decided on The Skybox and oh man was it stunning! The brick mixed with the modern aesthetic was the perfect setting for their nuptials. Their wedding party braved the chilly November day and we snapped a few portraits at Penn Treaty Park! Here are some of my favorites from their day!
