Washington DC Engagement | District of Columbia Wedding Photographer Kir TubenI first met Kaitlyn and Steve during my cherry blossom mini sessions. I only had about 15 minutes with these cuties but in that short time, they lit up the camera. Steve is always making Kaitlyn laugh and feel at ease. It was a blast. So when these two reached back out to me to snap their engagement photos, I knew it would be an easy task! This couple knew they wanted classic DC monument photos so we headed to Lincoln at sunrise. The Jefferson memorial is under construction for the next 2 years so these columns and stunning views are the best place to get iconic marble snaps in DC! K and S met me just before sunrise to avoid tourists and get this glowy light look. Washington DC Engagement | District of Columbia Wedding Photographer Kir TubenWe chatted all about wedding plans while we walked around the tidal basin. Although I will majorly be bummed forever that I am booked for their date, I know they will have STUNNING images at the Museum of Women in the Arts next year! These two have incredible style and an easy going nature that makes them up for anything when it comes to photography! Here are my favorite snaps from our sunrise session at the Lincoln memorial.  I can’t wait to follow their journey to marriage all this year!
