This was one of my favorite days of the year. I had never met Kelsey and Nate before this but had been working behind the scenes to make sure it was the most memorable day. These two traded their massive Oklahoma wedding for a backyard soirée with 10 people. Not once did they have a ‘woah is me’ attitude about it even when the forecast called for rain!

There were so many magical, touching aspects about this day: we were met with blue skies after 100% rain chance, their friends offered their rowhouse up for the reception, their parents flew in with no issue during a pandemic, rose petals were already on the monument when we arrived, their siblings & friends sang songs/set up chairs/organized zoom speeches, strangers honked and congratulated them all throughout DC and my team of magical unicorns (Kory, Angelica, Daniela and Nika) transformed their reception into a garden wonderland. You can see the whole day on my blog right now! Long live microweddings!    VENDORS
