2020 Wedding Season | Personal Post | 2020 A Year in Review

I don’t know how to put this yearly post into words. Like many, 2020 was slated to be my best, most profitable year yet… but make plans and the universe laughs. When the pandemic shutdowns began, I assumed quarantine would be over by fall. Welp, the joke was on me and I am always reminded that the future is uncertain. This year was a testament to adaptability. As a natural planner, it was insanely difficult for me to restructure an entire year of travel and business.. keeping in mind I had to accommodate 33 couples’ change in wedding plans. What a world.

While my life changed drastically, I ended up photographing 72 sessions (boudoir, engagement and lifestyle) an editorial for The Knot, and 43 weddings. I launched my online education and managed to travel to Mexico, California, Ohio, Michigan, Pittsburgh, West Virginia to the Greenbrier and had a long weekend in Virginia Beach that made me forget about my cancelled flights to Europe. I will always remember this year as the year I learned to love my house and really depend on my marriage. Overall, I am beyond thankful for these humans featured below that decided to celebrate love and support my business through this trying time. I will never forget 2020 and all it has taught me. Never thought I would break my record for most weddings in a single year, particularly during a pandemic! Cheers to all of these loving souls for keeping my biz thriving in a world crisis.
