I must confess, I am a sucker for bloggers. In my business, I have recently moved away from lifestyle photography to focus more on weddings, anniversaries and engagements. While capturing couples is truly my passion, I have a soft spot for female entrepreneurs! At one point, I myself wrote for local area magazines and ran a fashion blog, so when Stephanie contacted me to do a shoot for her blog + online store, I couldn’t say no!

It’s not every day that your headshot clients look like this! Stephanie is as fun as she is beautiful. We had the best time playing dress up and traipsing around Alexandria. Her website Goodnight Pretty is a fashion blog married with an online store. She gets her inspiration from bright colors, Palm Beach living and all things on trend. 

The great thing about shooting Stephanie was that she was up for anything! She changed outfits seven times and never said ‘no’ to any spot or pose that I suggested. It was a whirlwind of a shoot that may not have worked out with anyone less coordinated or flexible. It was super fun and challenging to find tropical or southern inspired landscapes in a northern Virginia town! 

I will probably always support (and photograph) other creative women who follow their dreams. Stephanie was an inspiration and I wish her all the best in her fashion adventures!
