I just love this cake smash trend! Recently, I have taken on fewer lifestyle shoots because I have been focusing more on weddings. However, when I was contacted to do this little angel’s cake smash I couldn’t say no! I love when parents have a clear photo vision in mind!

Although the weather was beautiful and the ensemble was on point, Alisha was not having it! Woody Allen once said, “If you want to make God laugh, tell him about your plans.” This little one year old had zero interest in  our plans for this adorable cake smash.

Although Alisha sobbed through most of our session, I managed to snap a few shots of her inspecting the cake and looking just darling in her pink get up. The only time she smiled was when she was in her Daddy’s arms. Here are a few shots from my day with this sweet family!
