Well, it’s time folks! I finally get to share my bridal portraits from Arizona. In every career, I think it is wildly important to spend time learning and practicing your craft. I flew out to Arizona this month to do just that. While in this magical state, I got to capture some amazing western landscape inspired wedding portraits, snap a sweet couple in the desert, listen to some incredible speakers in my field and share with other photographers.

have only cried at 2 weddings this season: this was one of them. Jessica Green hired me to help capture this magical love story in DC and oh man am I glad she did! This was one of the most stylish weddings of 2016. Almila and Cameron got married at the Josephine Butler house this fall which has turned into my favorite venue!

If you ever wanted to see what an all American wedding looks like: this is it. Carolyn and Matt adorned the colors of the United States Flag- red, wedding white, and blue. This was the first wedding that truly felt like fall! Even her bouquet had hints of red and fall-esque florals. I was so thankful that Brett Denfeld hired me to help capture this day!

Katherine and Tyler had a wedding that was a long time coming. The two have been dating for what seems like a lifetime and were more in love than ever at their summer wedding. The intimate ceremony was complete with heartfelt speeches and a ton of celebrating with close friends and family! This group really knows how to have fun!

Friends, if you’re looking for an authentic couple in love, you’ve found them here! Christine and Jeff are two of the sweetest people I have ever met. The two tied the knot September 10th at Potomac Shores Golf Club and I was lucky enough to capture their love alongside Brett Denfeld Photography. Their ceremony overlooked the water and their reception took place at Fortune restaurant in Falls Church (about 2 minutes away from my house).

I had the honor of assisting Marirosa Anderson at the wedding of Camila & Peter this spring. I had a BLAST being by her side all day. This wedding was a cultural explosion of Latin dances and sweet wedding traditions. Peter and Camila were the sweetest couple and I loved snapping them all day at Marymount and then again at the Ft. Myer Officer’s club.

Some couples just emanate authenticity. The second I met Colby and Nick, I knew that they were true original sweethearts. The entire day, it was impossible to capture Colby without a massive grin all over her face. These two are extremely devoted to one another. Both families are so extremely wonderful, warm and welcoming that I felt right at home amongst their huge bridal party!

I am so so thankful that Becky Wilcher took me along to shoot the wedding of Alexis and Ray. These two crazy kids tied the knot this rainy wedding season with the best of attitudes. Not once did anyone complain about the weather or the muddy grass that went along with it. This is 100% due to the amazing nature of Alexis and the people she surrounds herself with.
