I met this couple right here a few months ago. I was assisting on a shoot and it turned out that they were going to be in France at the exact same time I was! What are the odds! Shane and Julie are wonderful hearts with smiles that won’t quit. They share a home together with their sweet puppy dog Taco and have a life of adventure and entrepreneurship. Julie runs Sand Piper and Co and is involved in all kinds of darling wedding projects.

This was my third time in the city of love & I could not be happier about it. When I was in high school, I never really got the chance to travel abroad. Some of my wealthier friends were taking summertime vacations to Europe and I was left in Delray to tan & mostly just train for my swim team. As a teenager, I longed to walk the Champs-Elysées, eat fresh macaroons from Ladurée and drink champagne underneath the Eiffel Tower…

Have you ever met a couple that you just felt like you instantly knew? That’s how it was with Ashleigh and Ryan. Walking towards the Opera House, I heard my name called across the road and I was met with a warm hug from Ashleigh… we had never met before this moment! A few months back, Ashleigh had emailed me saying “Not to be creepy but I saw that you’re going to be in Sydney, we are too! We’d love some engagement photos!” I was so thrilled!

Details are such an important part of your wedding. Even if you don’t plan them as part of your photo story, there are little things you have probably been dreaming of including in your wedding.
