Kaitlin & Ishan love each other so much that they got married TWICE. These newlyweds wanted to honor Ishan’s heritage and have a large traditional Indian wedding in India as well as this stunning wedding at Stone Tower Winery! Their multi-day celebration in India was the first ceremony to honor their eternal commitment before also affirming their commitment in a church in Virgina. I think it’s amazing when two people of different backgrounds blend their heritage and honor tradition in both ways!

Lauren and Zach are near and dear to my heart. This bride was a bridesmaid in one of my past weddings (shoutout to Molly & Jake) and she loved the way I handled a wedding day. When it came time for these two to tie the knot, I was one of the first vendors booked. Fast forward a few months and Zach happened to be relocated for work which brought these two to live in my very small hometown of Delray Beach Florida! I was able to visit them twice in the past year and really get to know their kind spirits and fun-loving nature.

Julie and Shane are one of a kind. These two love birds are so charismatic in front of a camera that I could photograph them for years and years! While this shoot was the perfect elopement inspiration, these two are actually expecting their first kiddo this year! Today I want to share a less glamorous part of my job: behind the scenes. I have to admit, on wedding day… I WORK. I sweat, I run, I sometimes trip and fall. But I will pretty much go to any lengths to get the perfect images for my couples. Every year, I create a folder of behind the scenes images from my second shooters. This year, I decided to share some of my favorites. While I don’t look my most glamorous on the job, you can see the joy my work brings me in almost every image.

This couple right here has my heart! They have a sweetness about them that is unrivaled. They actually met in 6th grade and have been dating for over 9 years… and it shows! They have an easy nature around one another that can only be developed by time. They have a deep history and spend lots of time with family. Vincent even proposed at the Jersey Shore surrounded by siblings and family!

Never has there ever been a goofier groom than Rob. I think I laughed the entire 2 hour session with these two. Rob’s sense of humor made this engagement session a breeze because he always made Renee smile from ear to ear! We woke up super early to walk around Jefferson and then headed to Lincoln. Even though Lincoln was under construction, you can hardly tell!

The best way to described Abby and Mike is through the last 10 minutes of their wedding day. Sweaty and excited from dancing, they were the last two on the dance floor thanking the vendors and hugging their drunk friends who were lingering the longest. A jacketless Mike and a balero-less Abby requested one last photo with the mutual friend that introduced them as a couple. Before running through their sparklers, Mike had me shove late night Taco Bell Burritos in his suit before booking it to their after party.

These two have been together for over 5 years! Can you believe it!? Brian ended up proposing while the couple was beach vacationing and it was an easy YES for Rachel! After many years and fun adventures together, these two are planning an elegant Great Marsh wedding for next May! I can’t wait to see their Just Married smiles on their perfect spring day!
